RJ GRAHAM SCHOLARSHIP

Available to Year 12 and Year 13 Māori students with academic merit, studying Te Reo Māori and either Mathematics, Information Technology or Science.

Rose Hellaby Scholarship

Number of recipients: 80

To assist Year 9 Māori students with the purchase of school uniform or textbooks. Available to students with demonstrated financial need, academic ability and aptitude. Rose Hellaby, visionary and benefactor, born 1886 and died aged 91 in 1974. In 1969 Rose established the Māori Education Fund with New Zealand Guardian Trust (now Perpetual Guardian) to provide education opportunities for Māori children and young adults.

Sister Annie Henry Scholarship

The Sister Annie Henry Trust was established in 1972 to assist in the education or training of any direct descendants of Reverend John Laughton, or students of Tūhoe descent. This scholarship is open to secondary, undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Tī Maru Māori Trust Secondary Boarding Scholarship

Available to Year 9 Māori students with demonstrated financial need, academic ability and aptitude, who wish to attend a secondary boarding school. The Tī Maru Māori Trust was set up in 1967 as a perpetual charitable trust for the promotion and encouragement of the education of Māori.

VW & LM Rosier Scholarship

Available to Year 13 Māori students with academic merit, studying Mathematics and two Science subjects at NCEA Level 3 (or higher).
