2025 Queen Elizabeth II Postgraduate Fellowship

Available to a Māori or non-Māori graduate with excellent academic ability, who plans to research at postgraduate level in a field that will benefit Māori.

The 2025 Queen Elizabeth II Postgraduate Fellowship was created from the Queen Elizabeth II Post Graduate Fellowship of NZ Act 1963. Up until 1995 it was administered by the Māori Trust Office, but was subsequently handed over to the Māori Education Trust due to reforms made to the Māori Trustee Act. It aims to support a student who excels academically, and who is also undertaking postgraduate research that will benefit Māori.
