2025 Tī Maru Māori Trust Secondary Boarding Scholarship
Available to Year 9 Māori students with demonstrated financial need, academic ability and aptitude, who are enrolled at a secondary boarding school.

The Tī Maru Trust was set up in 1967 through a deed made between Olive Burns of Timaru and the Perpetual Trustees Estate and Agency Company of New Zealand. Burns showed a deep desire to establish a charitable trust with the purposes to advance the education of Māori in New Zealand. The Tī Maru Māori Trust Scholarships are divided between three scholarships categories: Secondary, Undergraduate and Postgraduate.
The aim of the Tī Maru Māori Trust Secondary Boarding Scholarship is to support Māori tauira who are enrolled in their first year of a secondary boarding school.
