2025 Tī Maru Māori Trust Undergraduate Scholarship

Available to full-time Māori undergraduate students enrolled in their final year of study at a recognised New Zealand tertiary institute in 2025. Priority will be given to students with academic merit.

The Tī Maru Trust was set up in 1967 through a deed made between Olive Burns of Timaru and the Perpetual Trustees Estate and Agency Company of New Zealand. Burns showed a deep desire to establish a charitable trust with the purposes to advance the education of Māori in New Zealand. The Tī Maru Māori Trust Scholarships are divided between three scholarships categories: Secondary, Undergraduate and Postgraduate.

The aim of the Tī Maru Māori Trust Undergraduate Scholarship is to support Māori tauira who have a strong record of academic excellence when entering their final year of undergraduate study.
