Tarere 2 Māori Land Trust


The Tarere 2 Māori Land Trust administers over 2,500 hectares of whenua located in the Kopuapounamu Valley near Te Araroa, which encompasses pastoral farmland, pine trees and native bush.


Every year they have made scholarships available from revenue off their land. To be illegible you must be able to whakapapa to Ngāti Porou Iwi and be a beneficiary of their land block. You can go online to check who the beneficiaries are through the Māori Land Online website.

Go to Block Search and enter the name of the block Tarere 2 and you will find who all of the listed beneficiaries are.
