Ngā Tāngata Tiaki o Whanganui

Te Whawhaki Trust is the charitable arm of Ngā Tāngata Tiaki o Whanganui and was established to utilise funds that benefit Whanganui Iwi and Te Awa Tupua.


Te Mana o Te Awa and Te Mana o te Iwi Scholarships have been established to assist uri of Whanganui Iwi to grow capability and capacity.

Scholarships

Ngā Tāngata Scholarships are open undergraduate and postgraduate tauira who whakapapa to a hapū or marae of the Whanganui Rohe and are registered on the Whanganui Iwi Registrar.

 

Ultimately, it is intended that scholarship recipients will contribute to the health and well-being of both the Whanganui River (Te Awa Tupua) and Whanganui Iwi.

Undergraduate
